Taxation

As chartered accountants we do not only  have years of taxation practice experience but we regularly attend seminars and courses with regard to new developments in taxation and related issues.  The partners do consult widely with clients regarding their taxation positions.  Some clients need more regular appointments that others and we take it upon ourselves to schedule regular or appointments even 6 months ahead with clients due to their specific nature and individual needs.

Services include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Income tax registration assistance
  • Handling tax directives and tax clearance certificates for clients
  • Estate consultations taking into account latest changes to trust taxation legislation effects
  • Engaging with clients and their retirement consultants regarding long term taxation effects
  • Capital gains tax (CGT) calculations for clients to plan for the transactions’ taxation liabilities
  • Completing annual taxation calculation and submitting taxation returns on behalf of clients
  • Provisional taxation bi-annual taxation calculations and return submissions
  • Completing dividend calculations and submitting dividend returns on e-filing for clients
  • Registration for clients regarding VAT, PAYE, UIF, and the  Compensation Commissioner
  • Monthly processing of accounting records and submitting VAT return on behalf of clients
  • Monthly payroll processing and submitting related EMP & UIF returns on behalf of clients
  • Assisting clients with VAT and PAYE e-filing problems by visiting SARS offices on their behalf
  • Assissting clients with their annual Compensation Commissioner returns submittance
  • Assissting clients with wrong assessments’ “notice of objection and appeal” procedures   
  • Visit clients monthly and review VAT reports and prepared Vat returns before submittance

                

We understand our clients’ apprehension not to pay unnecessary tax due to defaults in planning or structuring of business transactions.  We are bound by ethical and legal requirements as well as the new NOCLAR legislation coming into effect July 2017. As registered tax practitioners we engage with clients to provide comprehensive tax services and advice with due professional care.
